The Pancreas
The pancreas is found in the stomach. It is wide on one end and skinny on the other, like a pear.

The pancreas has two jobs. The first is to help in digestion of food. The other function is to produce insulin.

Insulin controls how much sugar is in your blood. Diabetes is a disease that results from a lack of insulin in the blood.
