The Tongue
The tongue is the taste organ of the human body. Four types of taste buds are scattered over the surface of the tongue. Each taste bud detects only one type of taste.

But the tongue also helps in digestion.

The tongue pushes food between teeth and crushes food at the top of your mouth. It is a strong muscle used in the physical process of digestion.
