Parts of a Plant
Typical plants that grow in the ground have the same basic parts.

Roots anchor the stem to the ground. The stem supports the leaves and other above ground parts of the plant.

These parts vary from plant to plant and some plants don't even have all of them. But you can quickly recognize all three parts on most plants.
