Unit 3: I'm Falling and I Can't Get Down

Unit 3 explores the free fall environment. Students examine many types of experiments that are performed on the space shuttle. They study centripetal force, acceleration, and the scientific method. They also study how astronauts practice being in orbit using various types of simulators.
